BOSCA Announces Fall 2023 Regional Workshop in Kutztown, PA

The Business of Small College Athletics (BOSCA) will host its second regional workshop to be held in Kutztown, PA. The one-day event will be hosted on the campus of Kutztown University on Monday, October 2, 2023.

BOSCA was founded in 2012 to provide more relevant professional development and networking opportunities to non-Division I athletic administrators. BOSCA has offered an annual workshop in Oklahoma City since 2012 and added virtual programming through the BOSCA Leadership Academy and BOSCA Revenue Generation Academy in 2021.  BOSCA hosted its first regional one-day event in Kansas City, MO in February, 2023.

“I’m looking forward to facilitating this opportunity for growth, networking, and idea sharing in Kutztown”, said BOSCA founder Jim Abbott. “Professional development doesn’t have to happen once a year at a convention that requires a flight, multiple nights in a hotel, and a registration fee. This event allows a convenient and affordable opportunity for small college administrators in the region to come together to grow and learn.” I wish that opportunities like this had been available to me when I was leading a department.

Registration for this event is open now and the cost to attend is only $115 per person. Registration includes a full day of workshop sessions, workshop takeaways, and lunch.
