Jeff Mason Selected for BOSCA Board

Central Missouri Associate AD will help guide BOSCA efforts.

The Business of Small College Athletics (BOSCA) announced today the addition of Jeff Mason, Associate Athletic Director at the University of Central Missouri (NCAA Division II), to their Advisory Board.


Mason is a seasoned BOSCA alumnus having attended, and presented at, multiple workshops. Additionally, he has been a featured guest of various BOSCA digital programming. Those presentations have included social media policy and execution, revenue generation, and event management.


“Jeff is one of the brightest young administrators in the country and he will be a great addition to the BOSCA Advisory Board,” said BOSCA Founder Jim Abbott. “Jeff’s passion for personal growth is surpassed only by his willingness to help others in the profession and I look forward to working with him as we continue to expand the reach of BOSCA offerings.”


Mason has served in the UCM Athletic Department in several roles since beginning as a graduate assistant in 2013. He was promoted to his current role, Associate Athletic Director of External Operations, in August of 2023. Today, he leads the external units at Central Missouri including fundraising, sponsorship, licensing, event streaming, event management, media relations, ticketing, and creative content.


“I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back to BOSCA – an organization that has meant so much to me, personally,” said Mason. “Some of the strongest connections I have in this industry are rooted in BOSCA. I’m grateful to Jim Abbott for all that he’s done to assist countless administrators get better in their efforts to advance our student-athletes, coaches, and institutions. I’m eager to pay that forward.”
