BOSCA Announces Fall 2025 Regional Workshop Locations
Events scheduled for Columbus, OH and Kutztown, PA
The Business of Small College Athletics (BOSCA) announced today the dates and locations of two planned Fall 2025 Regional workshops.
BOSCA Regional workshops are one-day professional development and networking events that are designed for athletic administrators at small colleges and universities in a region. The workshops are organized by a group of peer administrators that represent schools in the region and offer an affordable opportunity for growth and interaction with relevant topics and presenters.
“The biggest challenge that administrators have when it comes to professional development is the cost, said BOSCA Founder Jim Abbott.” It’s just not practical at a time when budgets are tighter than ever to buy a plane ticket, pay for a hotel and registration fee, and then participate in an event that focuses primarily on D1 institutions.” “Regional workshops provide departments the opportunity to bring multiple administrators to learn and interact with peers, all for less than a single flight to a national convention.”
Since 2023, BOSCA has organized successful regional workshops in Kansas City, MO, Kutztown, PA, Worcester, MA, Costa Mesa, CA, Winona, MN, and Greenville, SC. The Fall 2025 regional workshops will be held in Columbus, OH, and Kutztown, PA.
Monday, October 6, 2025 – Capital University, Columbus, OH
Registration is open now for the Columbus, OH regional workshop which will be held in on the campus of Capital University.
“What a fantastic opportunity this is, to have a quality workshop coming to our region, said Al King, Athletic Director at Ashland University. “I’ve found that having a forum that allows administrators to exchange ideas, hear from their colleagues, discus what’s trending in our world and work through various situations is of incredible value. I’m grateful to BOSCA for organizing this opportunity for growth and networking.”
Monday, October 13, 2025 – Kutztown University
Registration is now open for the regional workshop which will be held in Kutztown, PA on the campus of Kutztown University. This event is designed for administrators at D2, D3, NAIA, and NJCAA schools in the region.
“Kutztown University is excited to host a Fall 2025 BOSCA Regional Workshop. These workshops serve as a dynamic platform for professionals in small college athletics to come together, exchange ideas, and explore the latest developments impacting collegiate athletics.
