Program designed to assist coaches with their fundraising efforts

BOSCA announced today its newest virtual training program, Fundamentals of Fundraising for Coaches, is now available for small college athletic departments. This training program is designed to provide coaching staffs with a better understanding of strategies that they can employ to enhance their fundraising efforts.

“At BOSCA we are determined to provide relevant opportunities and programs for small college athletics”, said BOSCA Founder Jim Abbott. “The biggest challenge that athletic department’s face is trying to provide a great experience to students while budgets get tighter and tighter.” “Fundraising is more important than ever.”

The virtual program is designed for group training and will include BOSCA designed curriculum, takeaways, and tips from veteran coaches who are successful fundraisers. Scheduling a training session is based on mutual availability and can be done by contacting Jim Abbott at jim@smallcollegeathletics.com  For more specific program information including cost CLICK HERE

“Coaching requires so many skills including recruiting, monitoring academics, mental health awareness, and fundraising to name a few,” said Matt Donovan, Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Development at the University of Indianapolis. “Having a better grasp of fundraising fundamentals, strategies, and approaches will help ease some of the burden that coaches deal with in running their programs.”
