Team Sports Provider Expands Support of Professional Development Opportunities

The Business of Small College Athletics (BOSCA) announced a new partnership with Game One that positions the company as a preferred apparel and equipment sponsor for both the BOSCA regional workshop (Greenville, SC) in February and the 2024 BOSCA Workshop (Oklahoma City) in July 14-16, 2024.

Introduced in 2012 and coordinated by Collegiate Resource Management, LLC, the BOSCA Workshop is the nation’s only professional development event designed specifically for athletic administrators at smaller colleges and universities, catering to NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA athletic departments. The Workshop is an opportunity for attendees to network, share insights, and learn how to better navigate the unique challenges facing smaller athletic departments.

With Game One as a BOSCA athletics team dealer partner, athletic administrators will gain expanded professional development opportunities and perspective from the benefits of a national team dealer model as it relates to serving their athletics apparel, footwear, and equipment needs.

“We are excited to partner with Game One to provide the premier professional development opportunity for small college athletic administrators,” said Jim Abbott, BOSCA Founder. “Game One is a national leader in the sports apparel, footwear, and equipment space, and they are a natural fit for our event.” “I’m grateful for their willingness to contribute to the continued development of athletic administrators.”

As a national team dealer in the collegiate space, Game One is a one-stop shop for premium intercollegiate athletic uniforms, apparel, footwear, and more.  The company’s growth in the collegiate space has grown by almost 20 percent in the last 12 months.

“We are thrilled to serve as a contributing partner for BOSCA and the doors that will open with athletic departments at the college level,” said Pat Weber, President of Game One. “One of our company’s core values is being a great teammate, and the opportunity to be that for so many terrific athletics administrators is both humbling and invigorating. Having a father who played football at the NAIA level (Tabor College) and myself who played basketball at the NAIA level (Montana Tech) provides great pride in being a partner with BOSCA.”

2024 marks the 12th edition of the BOSCA Workshop. Registration for the Summer Workshop is open now.
