Registration Open for 2024 BOSCA Summer Workshop

Registration is now open for the 2024 Business of Small College Athletics Summer Workshop. The event, which will be held July 14-16, 2024 in Oklahoma City, marks the 12^th anniversary of the workshop.

BOSCA was started in 2012 by Oklahoma City University Athletic Director Jim Abbott. Abbott’s vision from the start was to create a forum that provided more relevant professional development programming that was led by administrators from smaller colleges and universities. BOSCA has held true to that mission by focusing on meeting the needs of athletic administrators from NCAA D2 and D3, NAIA, and NJCAA institutions.

“As a relative newcomer to athletic administration, BOSCA has been a terrific event for me,” said Mark McCarter, Assistant AD for External Operations at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. “The workshop sessions provide a treasure trove of ideas and the professional connections and friendships I've made are invaluable. Come the first of January and the new calendar goes on the wall, BOSCA week is one of the first things I circle.”

The summer workshop is the seminal event of the calendar year for BOSCA which also provides virtual academies focused on revenue generation and leadership, campus consulting services in a variety of areas, virtual chats and webinars, and regional one-day workshops in the Spring and Fall.

“The BOSCA workshops are a strong building block for College Athletic Professionals who are interested in true growth,” said Shawn Summe, Athletic Director at Avila University. “Not only do you get to hear from Professionals who have a wealth of experience, you get the opportunity to pick their brains throughout the event and get to know them on a true level. This is the best opportunity for networking on a professional level that I have participated in.”
