BOSCA Announces Regional Workshop in Kansas City

The Business of Small College Athletics (BOSCA) will host its first ever regional workshop to be held in Kansas City, MO. The one-day event will be hosted on the campus of Rockhurst University on Monday, February 20, 2023.

BOSCA was founded in 2012 to provide more relevant professional development and networking opportunities to non-Division I athletic administrators. BOSCA has offered an annual workshop in Oklahoma City since 2012 and added virtual programming through the BOSCA Leadership Academy and BOSCA Revenue Generation Academy in 2021.

“I’m looking forward to facilitating this opportunity for growth, networking, and idea sharing in Kansas City”, said BOSCA founder Jim Abbott. “Professional development doesn’t have to happen once a year at a convention that requires a flight, multiple nights in a hotel, and a registration fee. This event allows a convenient and affordable opportunity for small college administrators in the region to come together to grow and learn.” My hope is that Kansas City will be the first of many regional events that we host in the future.”

Registration for this event is open now and the cost to attend is only $85 per person. Registration includes a full day of workshop sessions, workshop takeaways, and lunch.
