Opportunities for growth and networking for small college administrators in Florida

The Business of Small College Athletics (BOSCA) announced today plans for its Spring 2026 regional workshop in Lakeland, FL.

BOSCA Regional workshops are one-day professional development and networking events that are designed for athletic administrators at small colleges and universities in a region. The workshops are organized by a group of peer administrators that represent schools in the region and offer an affordable opportunity for growth and interaction with relevant topics and presenters.

The Florida regional workshop will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 in the D’Ann Brown Conference Center on the campus of Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. Cost to register is $145 per administrator. Departments registering 4 or more administrators will pay a discounted fee of $130 per administrator.

“BOSCA is where small-college leaders get practical answers fast,” said Pennie Parker, Athletic Director at Rollins College. “If you want real solutions and strategies you can use Monday morning, the Florida workshop is a no-brainer for you and your staff.”

“When I was a new AD, attending BOSCA was the most important professional decision I made. Every time I attend now, I leave with new ideas and a new peer I can call on that can relate to the challenges that I face. BOSCA delivers actionable strategies and a community that sticks.”

Nik Rule, Steering Committee Chair, BOSCA Board Member, and Commissioner of the Heart of America Conference.

"“Southeastern University is excited to host a BOSCA Regional Workshop," said Athletic Director Drew Watson.. "BOSCA delivers exceptional content that is invaluable for small college athletic administrators, offering insights and strategies that benefit everyone from newcomers and seasoned professionals. We look forward to welcoming BOSCA to our beautiful campus!”
